Beach House - Redesigned

4/11/2011

The owners of this beach house want to keep the original dark stained floors and wood trim, but need a lighter palette so the space doesn't feel so oppressive. I rearranged the living room a bit, trying to lighten it up in the dark room. Can't wait for new wall color!
Suggested colors for the house - the first two in the living room/dining room. The pale yellow for the kitchen, and the pale blue for the baths.

I also went through the house and mixed up the owner's existing decor pieces; changing the look of the space without purchasing anything new.
